Alessandra Lanvin, 30 years old, has a degree in political science and history of art. She worked as head-hunter in Paris in the luxury industry.

Aperlaï, the luxury accessory line founded in 2009 by Alessandra, is the name of an ancient Lycian city, a 20 minutes boat ride away from her summer house, a nest of happy memories and summer feasts.

Aperlaï – the French Maison

Graphic pure lines, contrasts, asymmetries and essential sophistication are the leitmotivs of Aperlaï  style. Vintage pieces, artists such Pollock for the materials, Picasso and Mondrian for the colours, Lovegrove for the structures…all nourish her creations.

Exotic skins, python, sting ray, pony are some of the top quality materials adopted.

The shoes take life in Italy thanks to the finest craftsmen near Venice. From sandals to cuissardes, the audacious stiletto or hexagon heels project over the typical vertiginous Aperlaï highs (up to 13 cm!) to convey a simple and refined allure.

The special graphic Geisha heel, introduced for the Fall Winter 2011/12 collection and realized separately in Florence is an ode to cubism and already one of Aperlaï ‘signatures.

The Gatsby inspired by the timeless androgynous men mocassins worn by Katherine Hepburn, became since the beginning a best seller and is developed every season in various textures.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Alba, Ginnifer Goodwin, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried are all fan and regularly wear Aperlaï  during their events.

Today Aperlaï collections are available through an exclusive network of distribution in over 15 countries.
