Another recurring appointment during Milano Fashion Week is the White Show which is the most important trade fair for womens and accessories collections and for international brands scouting.

Although this event has been strongly hit by the pandemic situation, the White Show organisation decided to go on with this important fashion event.

A third of the exhibitors attended the show, mainly Italian and very few foreigners. Nevertheless the event had a decent visits success with about 5 thousand visitors and this was a clear demonstration of how you can organise a big event during a difficult period of time in complete safety conditions.

My attention was captured by quality products like the colourful cotton hats made by Chattouche‘ and the sophisticated style by Ermanno Gallamini and the innovate fashion perspective by Gilberto Calzolari.

White always presents special areas with special guests like a selection of African designers, Yekaterina Ivankova, Sabina Musayev, Francesco Murano who won Who’s on Next during AltaRoma and Maison Flaneur .

Visiting White Show is always extremely interesting because you get to see what clothes you will be buying the next season, which are the most common trends, get to know new emerging designers and meet lots of fashion people.
