Cold-weather months call for warm, soft, enveloping coat. Coats are a must-have for this winter season and the designers have indulged to create them: from pea coats (like the sailors) to capes to maxi coats. A coat for every taste and every occasion.

Recently I have bought a blue wool and cashmere coat for myself: knee length, bottoms closure, balloon shape. I have opted for this kind of coat because it is a classic and I can wear for a long time.

This time I have looked for new coat shapes and styles to better give you an idea of what coats to wear and to buy.

Acne: this coat is a shaped jacket with a modified peter pan collar and partially exposed corset, closes at centre front with snaps. Virgin wool, nylon and alpaca.

Chloe: Prettily embroidered lace creates a romantic effect on this wool coat.
