Growing up a young girl in Russia, she learned to sew and crochet from her grandmother, an established dressmaker. After cultivating a deep love of fashion she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Soon thereafter, she started pursuing a career in high-end fashion, creating her own label, Single, with her husband and business partner, Michael. Her line is a luxury collection known for its classic sensibilities and exuberant European fabrics, which promote women’s confidence and independence in style.
