To celebrate the 90th’s anniversary last September the maison Gucci opened its own  museum inside Palazzo della Mercanzia in Florence. The museum is set on 3 floors: the first one offers the Gucci caffè, bookstore, icons store and travel; the second floor presents a Contemporary art space together with flora world, handbags, evening, precious; the third floor is dedicated to the Logomania, lifestyle and sport.

The Gucci Museo’s inaugural exhibition from September 26 to January 28, 2012) is Amore e Morte by Bill Viola consists of two large video installations, Fire Woman (2005) and Tristan’s Ascension (The Sound of a Mountain Under a Waterfall) (2005).
