After graduating from the prestigious London College of Fashion and Chelsea College of Art, Daniela D’Amico’s amorous collection launched in Autumn Winter 2014.

Here is her capsule collection of Fluffy T-shirts for Spring Summer 15.

The T-shirts come in a variation of illustrative prints and colour furs including ethically sourced rabbit fur and faux fur, the prints are inspired by my ancestral home of Sicily, inspired by the ancient mosaics and traditional fruits of Sicily, they are a fun yet elegant take on a Cotton T-shirt.

She wanted to create a fun yet elegant take on a normal cotton T-shirt by adding a hint of fluff to the cuffs, creating the ‘Fluffy Tee’ and featuring my print designs.  There have been various artists that have also influenced this collection such as the works from Renato Guttuso, his work is full of the unexpected and this is my take on the ‘T-shirt’ the ‘unexpected Fluffy Tee’, juxtaposing cotton and fur.

She is currently working on additional pieces for Spring Summer inclusive of trousers and skirts soon to be launched online.
