Born in Paris in 1993, Marion Colasse has graduated from two higher diplomas in arts specialized in moulding techniques and metal carving.

Approaching the art of jewelry through such a wide art-profession-focused perspective allowed her to set herself free from the codes and customs of traditional jewelry and to create her own paradigm of jewelry.

Her new pieces named «STRAWS», are a line of silver and gold plated brass jewelry. Her entirely handmade tube-shaped jewellery is a metallic interpretation of a model work, based on recovered plastic straws.

Those four unique pieces, named “SOLITAIRE””, are four “straws interpretations” of classical engagement rings with big diamonds: A way of showing that, contrary to the meaning, the object stays.
