Muks: authentic Canadian Mukluk boots

Posted on

History of Muks

Traditionally worn for hunting in the snow, Canadian Aboriginals have been enjoying the warmth of the Mukluk boot for hundreds of years.  Jaime Cooke launched the brand in 2003, Muks has evolved this traditional form of footwear into a product hailed by the style-savvy for not only its look, but also its element of comfort.

SS12 Collection

Drawing inspiration once more from the Canadian Aboriginals, the MUKS SS12 collection focuses on 70s trends, with a strong nod to Native America. Featuring fringed suede boots, wedged sandals and fringed moccasins. The colour palettes of summery pastels and Native Indian browns, combined with fringing effects, lacing and plaiting create a standout Navajo look.
