Another important date for all the fashioniste out there: 8th March 2012. This is the day when Marni will launch the capsule collection created exclusively for H&M in 260 stores worldwide and on-line.

Marni is an Italian brand founded by the designer Consuelo Castiglioni who describes her collection with these words: “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints,” Castiglioni said. “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.”

The collection, both for men and women, will be full of vivid colour and all-over prints, pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits, in fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton.

Marni added an additional charity unisex t-shirt to the line in January to help raise money for the victims of the Japanese earthquake.
