Born in Tiblisi, Georgia, Khirma Eliazov immigrated to the United States with her family when she was a small child. Both her parents became successful business owners in the US and always encouraged Khirma’s creative dreams and nurtured her entrepreneurial spirit.

After experiencing a profound cultural awakening while studying abroad in Florence, Italy, Khirma passed on pursuing a law degree after college to pursue her true dream of a career in fashion. With a goal in mind to ultimately launch her own collection, Khirma spent years studying the industry from every angle and honing her creative eye.

After gaining valuable experience as a merchandiser for Tommy Hilfiger, freelance editor at Vogue, Elle accessories and Glamour and creative director Khirma’s talents and passions turned to creating her own designs. In 2009, Khirma Eliazov launched her eponymous line of handbags. The collection brings together Khirma’s uniquely sophisticated aesthetic with inspirations drawn from her travels around the world.
