This is the 6th edition of the “Budapest Select” which is a professional partnership between Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and Hungarian Fashion Design Agency (HFDA) to promote and support emerging talented designer from Hungary.
This is such an interesting and important event to expose local fashion culture to an international audience.
This year 4 Hungarian designers displayed their SS22 collections at the fashion hub and they were: Alma Vetlenyi, Nini, Kata Szegedi, Z I A Budapest while Maison Elysian, Cukovy, Abodi and Kata Szegedi took part to the Budapest Select Special Show on the catwalk.

The event was held at the Fashion Hub inside the Museo della Permanente in Milan, just like the previous editions, together with other two important projects: “Fashion Bridges” which goal is to create a sustainable long-term cooperation between the Italian and the South African fashion industries and the “Designers for the planet” which is a project to develop more and more the sustainability in the fashion sector.
All these three projects have a common goal which is offering a dedicated stage to the emerging designers from all over the world.
