My fashion trip to Milan

Posted on

My fashion trip to Milan was only 2 days long but extremely full and interesting.

As soon as I arrived in Milan, the first stop was at Museo della Permanente to attend the fashion show organised by the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency in partnership with CNMI (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana). A selection of 5 emerging Hungarian brands such as Abodi, La Maison Elysian, Zsigmond Dora menswear, Curkovy and Je suis belle were showcasing their creations.

In the same place 5 emerging Africa brands like Gozel Green, Omer Asim, Studio 189, Thebe Magugu and Maison Artc together with 6 emerging Italian brands like Apnoea, Delirious Eyewear, Gentile Cantone, Giuseppe Buccinà, Salvatore Vignola, chosen for the 10th edition of the Fashion Hub Market, had the opportunity to promote and to show to visitors,  international press and buyers their talents.

The fashion hub was also hosting a selection of Chinese emerging designers that due to the emergency and travel restrictions in China, this year the static exhibition will turn into a digital project. #Chinawearewithyou.

After meeting all these amazing new designers, I moved to Corso Venezia to attend Coccinelle‘s venue presenting the new FW collection. This time the showroom was transformed into a cozy bar-restaurant and the collection mood is business-casual: not too luxury and not too basic.

Last stop for this busy day was at Mario Valentino‘s show room for a glamorous Parisian mood: glitter pumps, lace-up shoes, pointy patent leather pumps and precious leather boots.
