Vests and gilets

Posted on

Both vests and gilets are sleeveless garments but the gilet is usually shorter that an vest. Gilet is the typical male garment while a vest is worn by women too. I have always been attracted by the vest because it is a passepartout garment in the sense that it can add some elegance to a casual outfit with being too formal as a blazer. Also a matching gilet and tuxedo jacket gives you the perfect formality to attend any special occasion. Don’t forget to give to the vest/gilet  a female touch maybe with a brooch, a scarf or a sexy blouse underneath.

Least but not last my silk vest: the French jacquard fabric combined with the 100% Italian manufacturing have created this superb vest. I would like you to pay attention to the buttoning: no zip or buttons but two fabric strings.
