Alexander McQueen: Savage beauty

The Metropolitan Museum of New York celebrates the late Alexander McQueen’s geniality after one year form his death occurred in February 2010. The designer worked in the fashion industry for 19 years and was able to recreate the style creating incredible fashion masterpiece: just to mention one the Armadillo shoes wore by Lady Gaga. At the exhibition you can admire 100 dresses and 70 accessories starting from those created for Givenchy at the beginning of his carrer.

At the Costume Institute Gala Benefit at the MET Museum , where this exhibition was presented, all the  star system was attending: from Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker (these three wore a dress by McQueen), Beyonce and Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Karl Lagerfeld and Yoko Ono, Renee Zellweger, Eva Mendez and many many more.

The exhibition is from the 4th of May until the 31st of July.
