Sisley Paris

Sisley Paris is a luxury cosmetic brand created in 1976 by Mr. Hubert d’Ornano. One of the main peculiarity of this brand is the use of botanical active ingredients and essential oils still nowadays.

Last week I had the chance to have a face treatment made by one of Sisley makeup artist and it was really fantastic. She used several products like:

1. Gentle Eye and Lip Make-up Remover: it cleans your eyes and lips with respect.

2.Buff and Wash Facial Gel with botanical extracts: every day face detergent

3.Express Flower Gel: hydrating and toning mask. this mask can be applied and after 3 minutes removed or or you apply it before going to bed and keep it on all night long , as a night cream.

4.Floral Spray Mist: tonic to be used in the morning, in the evening and in the heat.

5.Eye and Lip Contour Complex: to be used dring the day and at night time.

6.Sisleÿa Global Anti-Age: day and night intense anti-aging hydration.

These are all specific for dry and sensitive skin like mine.

In between these products she also applied a lavender essential oils.

She underlined several times that once the face skin is accurately clean, then any cream can have positive effects. That’s why she said it is important not only to wash your face with water but also to use a detergent in the morning; in this way you remove the dead cells and impurities , open the pores to prepare the skin for the next treatment. Never forget to apply a contour cream before you apply the face cream: the eye cream is probably more important than any other cream. I was told that it is preferable to invest a little bit of more money on a contour eye cream than on a face one.

Before finishing the face treatment she massaged my face with two Aventurine stone sticks with which she drew circles on my face: I thought she was using a roll-on balls but instead it was a real stone.

After the face treatment, she taught me how to wear make-up.

1.Phyto-Teint Eclat: use a brush to apply it. In this ay you are going to use less products, than using fingers, and the result is more homogeneous
